Meet Jaimie: Founder of Luz Jewelry
Last month while traveling around the US, I got to work with Jaimie of Luz Jewelry for a very special personal branding shoot! Jaimie’s passion for design and art collided with the perfect medium of jewelry and goldsmithing after handcrafting her own wedding ring. She has since gone on to make custom and bespoke engagement and wedding bands for many and all her pieces are intended to be passed on through generations.
I love how Jaimie describes her brand - “Luz is where modern meets classic. Where everyday meets chic. Our designs are inspired by the salt of Puget Sound and the colors of the bougainvillea flowers found in the southern hemisphere. Our pieces are intended to be passed from the hands of generations, bringing light and joy and story from one to the next.”
With a new collection and a brand evolution on the horizon, Jaimie wanted to capture the new imagery that showed the inspiration behind it all. The upcoming collection was inspired by the mountains, water, and the child in her who still loves collecting rocks and shells along the way. We were lucky enough to shoot in the exact place she spent so much time as a kid and I love that she has a sacred connection to the land we photographed her on.
