Meet Belinda: Founder of Surf Coast brand Carlabella the Label
Carlabella's mission is to reinvite the fashion industry by creating timeless prices, supporting craftsmanship, and encouraging an ever-lasting capsule wardrobe.
Belinda's most recent Capsule Collection for Spring 22 is called Jungle Oasis, and she created it for the romantic and bohemian soul in search of their next adventure. We teamed up to create some personal brand imagery and get a few sneak peek shots of the pieces right before she left for Bali to work with her team of artisans. 👏🏼
One of the things I love most about personal brand imagery is that it honours the creator.
Anyone who's an entrepreneur or small business owner knows this journey can be a challenging one. There's so much behind-the-scenes work that goes into starting a company and building a brand, and it remains mostly invisible to everyone but the people doing the work.
A photoshoot is a beautiful opportunity to celebrate yourself and how far you've come. It's a chance to stand proud and be seen as a human that worked her a$$ off and created something from nothing. It's a way to honour the process and the evolution of your artistry, your offerings, and yourself. 💛

I jumped at the offer and chose to support Leslie’s offering as it felt like a long time coming that I had wanted to get behind the camera and especially with Leslie capturing my vision, wearing my designs.
It was such a seamless and fun process, from envisioning the mood board, finding a location and enjoying the experience of the photo shoot.
