Kate Smyth's passion for natural medicine blossomed during her career as an elite endurance athlete.

And when I say elite, I mean really elite! Eight years after running her first marathon, she competed in the event for Australia at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, becoming one of the all-time fastest women in Aus with a personal best time of two hours 28 minutes. (Which is pretty mind-blowing considering she only started serious marathon running and training at the age of 30! 🏃🏼‍♀️)

A number of setbacks, injuries and health issues guided her to several integrated health practitioners, and a passion for natural medicine ensued.

She returned to University to complete a clinical naturopathy degree and established The Athlete Sanctuary shortly after graduating.

Her favourite part of her work is helping women transform and restore their inner strength, energy and courage to pursue their dreams. ✨
