Interview with Adventure Journal: Nature Through My Eyes
I recently had an interview with Adventure Journal, an "online magazine devoted to outdoor adventure in all forms" that I am really excited to share! Today I am featured in their "Square Shooter" column, which features an instagram account each Friday that they hope will inspire readers. You can check out the article here, and I sincerely hope that you DO leave inspirited. If nothing else, it's Friday, so you can be excited about that. :)
It's amazing how small the world has become with the surge in social media platforms. One of the interview questions was, "What's the coolest thing that has ever happened to you through—or because of—your Instagram photos?" I've been able to partner with fantastic companies like Rise Bar, ALO Yoga, Wanderlust Festival and ALOHA moment, which are all wonderful organizations in industries I support. (Yoga + Health/Wellness). Honest answer though, I'm most fulfilled when people simply take the time to reach out and leave a thoughtful message. It's one thing to double tap a photo or re-share a tweet, but it's another to be intentional with a connection. I think that's the coolest thing about social media and one of the major reasons I'm still connected. Being featured in Adventure Journal is a pretty rad result of staying authentic to my passions and trying to be the example of positivity and mindful awareness of others + Mother Earth.
Thanks for checking out the article and if you want to follow on instagram, I'll be here @lschipper.
