I’ve never defined myself as maternal. In fact, in the past, I’d be 100% more likely to “ooh and ahh” over a fur baby than an actual baby.
But interest in pregnancy and the journey from maiden to motherhood has grown immensely in the last 9 months. As friends and family (and now me!) experience the transformation, I’ve come to understand just how big of a miracle this all is.
In my conversations with mothers, I hear over and over again how their camera roll is filled with images of their adorable baby, but that they don’t have any with THEM in it (besides selfies).
Well mamas, I’m here to change that. Post maternity leave, I’ll be focusing more energy on documenting these mum and bub moments (including maternity) to ensure these magic + love-filled memories are captured and remembered.
